I love my hometown...skyline reminds me of a miniature version of Chicago. Where did you take this pic at?

neat

I always thought a real tall building with an iconic crown or spire, perhaps at say, 17th and Curtis, would really make the skyline a lot more hot from this vantage.

I took one from a very similar vantage point just a few days ago:

Great panoramic shot! It's nice to see some new towers on the Denver skyline. What are the two (or three) new high rises on the right edge--I think one is a new hotel (?)

These buildings you are referring to form the new 14th Street building wall. There is also a 17-story Embassy Suits (with 402 hotel rooms) under construction along here, between the Hyatt and Spire buildings (barely tall enough to see it's roof in these photos). On the right side of the photo, the new towers from left to right are:

Left: Tall one with the spire is Four Seasons Hotel & Residences (45-stories) is mixed-use, bottom half hotel, top half residences. I believe it's around 250 hotel and 175 residential, but I can't remember for sure on exact numbers.

Middle: Spire is the middle new tower (41-stories) with blue-green glass and it has about 525 residential units priced from $225,000 on up to $800,000 with most below $500,000.

Right: Hyatt Regency Convention Center Hotel is the shorter one (38-stories) far right with the small crown/spire structure has 550 hotel rooms.

Great photos!!

Denver is a nice city, but I don't think it looks to much like a mini Chicago. Maybe on the northshore a little(not pictured). This was taken last weekend also.
