^ I agree completely.

Big curtain walls look good too but it's been so done that there's really hardly anything special about them.

Trump Toronto reminds me of Trump Chicago in that it relates really well to the buildings that surround it. You can see in the rendering that the stone cladding on the west side of the tower will be the same height as the old Scotia Bank building to the south, and the stone on the north side of the tower is roughly the same height as the Canada Permanent Trust Building to the west.

Also, from the perspective in the photo below, notice that the base of Trump seems to mirror the base of the Bay Adelaide Centre in that it reflects a stone facade giving way to a recessed wall of glass. Although this was likely unintentional on Zeidler's part since Trump was designed before BAC, it's still a pleasant happenstance.

I agree 100% ^^^

I really like how Trumps new towers relate/fit in with mostly all of the surrounding buildings through setbacks/material placement!

Trump's base goes well with the historic feel of Bat St at street level (and so does Bay Adelaide Centre) but as it moves up it is pure glass!

***Also notice the fins at the base of the tower align with the base of Scotia Plaza and the building behind it! As seen below!

Skyscraper construction/design should be exactly like this!

I had never noticed the curved floors until i saw skyscraper03's photo! Its so nice to see some variation in the floors rather than just the straight forward floors!

The bow is INCREDIBLE! One of the best skyscrapers in Canada!

Ahhhhhhh......Finally. The Final stages of construction here. Three years and a bit is coming to an end now as Toronto is this close to getting its first five star chain hotel brand and first 200 meter hotel ever. Cladding is not as exciting as Trump or Four Seasons, but its got a bit of design flare, and it should be a hotbed of activity once the film festival stars up.

EAP's cladding looks like absolute junk in comparison to the Bow eventhough I will admit it does photograph well. It looks like absolute crap up close. I wouldn't trade Bay Adelaide for it either as Bay Adelaide has the better curtainwall and, let's face it, the curtainwall is the architectural statement for these towers.

HAHA!!!!!!

true....

The FS cladding looks sweet indeed... they are moving pretty quick with this one!

*In that shot of EAP ^^^^ It pretty much looks like Bay Adelaide Centre back in the day!.. the cladding is also a little similar in that lighting!

Update from Jasonzed at SSC. The site has been cleared and shoring equipment has made an appearance. L Tower will be on the list within days.
