Thank you sir!

EAP looks like it's turning out great to me, I don't get what all the criticism is about. It and the Bow are my favourite buildings u/c in Calgary right now.

There are a few residences but not enough to make an impact. Mostly penthouses which are largely unsold and being leased as hotel and event spaces. One King is a indeed a condominium hotel along with Trump and a half dozen other properties. There actually was a recent rumour about a possible buyout of One King and make it a full fledge chain hotel. Some other condo hotels are in the process of dropping the hotel part.

Interesting stuff Cal! I was also at the FS site earlier this afternoon and seeing the cladding for the first time, it was quite impressive...
I'll post my photos/videos once they're done uploading...

For now, here's a really sweet shot of the Ritz by digitalis on UT:

SIGNIFICANT ROOF SLANT PROGRESS!

Can't wait to see this roof clad!

I really love that interior glass on the bow... I hope the exterior glass that goes up is at least as good. Infact I wish that the atrium glass had been used for the whole tower. Calgary is really destroying it.....

steveve ur onfyr..... great pictures of the Four Seasons.... I see ur trying to challenge my almost daily pictures... I took alot of photos todat.. just havent posted them all...

keep it up steveve and surrealplaces!

The Bow is fantastic.

My only small aesthetic concern is how it will dwarf other buildings, and kind of throw the scale of the skyline off. Not so much the height, but from angles it is a very wide building.

Still - Love it.

Like all men. Once the climax is reached you roll over and fall asleep and dream of your next conquest.

you miss me already! (probably cause i post here too often! )
steveve was out of town for a bit... didn't miss out on too much though !

Great calgary update there! Those little cubes that connect those X beams are really massively epic!!!
The Absolute balcony cladding is what i've really been waiting for! The building looks bad with the bare-naked concrete balconies (with the temporary fencing )
Great capture of the Ritz Cal! Its nice to see the full height of the building with most of it clad!!! I hope they do a good job with the Ritz logo!

Here's some epic Ritz slant pics b drum118 on UT!!!
Can't wait to see some cladding on this slant!!!
Like i said over at UT:

"I remember there was a moment in time where the first beams were installed on the north side and we were all just waiting for the rest of the slant to come... then all of the sudden it just shot up!"

"The slant-slope is totally dope.!!! (lol... it rhymes too !)"

I wish this was the top floor (where the roof slant is) of the Ritz...

Its Central Plaza in Hong Kong... the top-slanted ceilings/floor is awesome! I would have liked to see a restaurant or observation deck like this where the current mechanical/slant is...
