Wow, some fantastic pix there. Beauty is everywhere, even amongst the squalor.

That sounds unbearably hot. What is 100? In the high 30s I think? Yikes. I think Edmonton's record high of all time is 38 or 39°C.

Photo quality is fantastic as usual, Sekkle. Keep it up!

Damn, you really got into some down and dirty areas. I loved it all and can't wait until parts 3 through 12 . I think I liked part 2 even better than part 1.

ps. Those 2 victorians hiding out west are still looking good (for phx).

Severe race issues + racism + sprawl + blazing hot = Hell on earth in my opinion.

Good job on the photos though

Great photos! I actually live in Phoenix, and yes it's hot, but only in the summer. The late summer, winter, and early summer is perfect! And I'm getting pretty tired of this "racism" crap, but again, great photos!

If you think it was hot today, it's supposedly going to be 114 on Wednesday and 116 on Thursday.

Great work. Some of those photos are really reminiscent of the atmosphere of the old west. I think my favorites are the shot of a couch under a palm tree, the broken organ. They are, as are many of your shots, a little bit surreal and inspire reflection.

Well put! I liked the sprinkling of small pics, and the plane flying parallel to the buildings. Colour and crispness top notch, as ever!

I never knew Phoenix was so interesting until you went there. You do a great job showing off it's definitive Western vibe, bravo!
