I love London!

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know a totally dedicated L-Dot website is now up!

http://www.lovelondon.ca/

It's a similar layout to Wonderful Waterloo, hence the 2 L words like the 2 W words in that site's name.

The site just got set up, so it might take a bit to come to life, but check it out sometime when you get a chance!

Good luck, but seeing how dead this place is, i can't see a similar site being successful, unless you are able to get in touch with people who have alot larger range of interests.

I've said it before but the main problem is that most people interested in construction and urban development in London don't actually live in London.

The WW forum does well because most of its users are urban planning students at UW with a sincere interest in keeping it up to date. For LL to succeed you'll need to find a few London residents who are equally dedicated. i.e.: users will actually have to go out and take photos on a weekly basis.

I appreciate the effort, but isn't this redundant to SSP/SSC, without the broader topics?

Didn't you notice on the plane when you started talking, eventually I started reading the vomit bag?
