Sui sha ya Sushi in Abbotsford! All you can eat and great Sushi can go wrong except might be hard to get seat. But if you can't you can always go across parking lot to Apple Betty's Buffet

There is a place when you turn off highway 1 to head towards Harisson Hot Springs...its right across the highway from Bridal Falls I believe. They have a place there that has HUGE trucker meals which taste fantastic and are pretty cheap (less than $20).
I ordered something with 2 giant beef patties inside a whole bread and surrounded by a sea of fries along with a salad. There is no way you can eat it in one sitting. I think its the Wilcat Grill or something.

Best sushi I have had south of the Fraser would be without a doubt the Japanese restaurant in a plaza on the corner of 206 and Fraser Hwy in "downtown" Langley. Best Vietnamese I have had period would be the pho restaurant in the same complex.

I hate Langley but, if I'm stuck in that part of the world for an afternoon, at least I know I can eat very well for a reasonable price. The sushi joint would give the West End's Samurai a run for its money as the best value in the neighborhood. The Vietnamese restaurant would win hands down over what I've had anywhere in Vancouver.

may not necessarily be considered part of the valley, but good eats in the burbs anyway:

port moody:
rosa's (italian/pasta place) on the lower road (clarke)
charlie or carlos (mexican food) on st. johns
rodos kouzina (greek) in the older area next to newport

Fresco's gives decent food for an awesome price. Oh boy, do they ever pile the plates sky-high for cheap! The food itself is so-so, but still a step above fast food like McDs.

My favourite place is just off of 104 on East Whalley Ring Road Drive. It's a Japanese place called Yokohama and it has good, good food and an excellent all-you-can-eat menu. I'm not much of a glutton, but I really enjoy the variety you get to pick and choose from. Good sushi, good cooked food, good uncooked non-sushi food... good all around.

Since we've made it all the way to Chilliwack already, I might as well include Hope. Haven't been there in a bit now but there was a great buffet (I'm pretty sure only on weekends) called Canyons. I remember we actually used to make the trip all the way up there just for the food. Gas was a little cheaper then and we all had more free time.
