Nice looking city. I thought it had a somewhat Hanseatic look to it and checking Wikipedia I see that it was a member of the league.

thanks for the comments everyone.
years ago i dated a woman from warsaw. when prompted for her favorite polish city she would always say toruń. so when i found myself back in poland it was an easy choice to visit. it certainly is a beautiful place.

Outstanding! First time I've seen images of this city. Euro cities are so attractive. Splendid architecture, dense, lively, ect.

well deserved late bump. i drove by there last week on my way to Byslaw for a brief visit for genealogy research. next time i'll have to stop and explore the lesser known cities of Poland more.
