Neat city, That Infosys building is a piece of work. Im guessing this place is definetely seeing the benefits of India's tech boom.

How do you pronounce Pune anyways? Poon, or Puny? Pune-ay?

It has always been an important industrial and cultural city of Maharashtra state. Plus it has lots of defence related units/labs + some great educational institutions. Parts of the city are indeed seeing the benefits of the IT boom.

It is pronounced pooNAY (the British name was Poona).
