CHONGQING | International Financial Center | 431 m / 1414 ft | 102 floors | On-Hold

One of a number of supertalls in the works for Chongqing. Construction has been on-hold for a couple of years now though. Should be good looking tower if and when it does get built.

Stunning! This must get built.

those pics are of the deconstruction? or is that of the tower?

I've actually seen this in person but wasn't sure if it was going down or going up, since there wasn't any activity. ....

This is a beautiful skyscraper.

It adds to the skyscraper instead of dominating it (ala Burj Dubai). It makes every building around it look better.

Hope this gets built.

The paper also reported that the city is to make another attempt to build "the tallest building in western China," this time with the Chongqing International Financial Center, which is expected to be 500 meters in height and have 10 billion yuan ($1.5 billion) in investment.
