It's been a month since the last posting. Any updates on this project? Wondering if this hotel will actually be open this summer..

Thanks.

It definitely won't be open for the summer. They are only at floor 2 or 3. I don't see them finishing it in that time frame.

This photo is from around late January. Apparently the top floor of the Aldred building is accessible to the public. It will be a good spot to watch this building rise.

I'm liking the fact that it's going up quite quickly. Is a summer opening still on track?

Edit: wait. 7 more floors plus interiors for the hotel component? Not gonna happen.

The hotel already has its website up and going:

http://www.courtyardmarriottmontreal.com

I agree that a summer opening seems very optimistic.

De rien, et ce ne sera pas la seule si on se fie aux rumeurs qui courent concernant les terrains autour du Centre-Bell!

I guess if Marriott tried and did catch up to altoria they would rob it of its "tallest residential building" title! Regardless though, the residential portion of the Marriott will be the tallest residential tower in all of Quebec.

Do the people from the Altoria project know Altitude will be 124m? It'd have to be at least (4.2*10 + 3.3*25 = 124.5) to claim such a thing.

Thanks for the pictures! They should probably be close to 10 by mid April.

Whoops I am sorry. I don't know how altoria got into my post, I never meant to bring it up. I was merely wondering if the Marriott people had envisaged robbing altitude's title as tallest residential tower in Montreal !
