Doesn't matter. At that height, they'd both be supertalls.

These towers are absolutely breathtaking, a very iconic addition to the Midtown skyline, I'm a little bummed because I really liked the boxy previous design as well, but these are obvious improvements and I can't wait to see these beauties go up! It would be really cool if these towers had some sort of interesting lighting scheme at night, hopefully that happens!

Oh my God. This is not possible. Hahahaa ... If this project is really well built, will be the best site in development in the city. I'm really hoping that all of these buildings are built.

Imagine the amount of Supertalls we have in town?! Brookfield, Manhattan West, The Drake, 15 Penn Plaza, One World Trade Center (WTC 2 and 3), Carnegie 57 (One 57), and various other projects.

This design is perfect, tall buildings (The height of the North Tower is perfect), modern buildings and beautiful. New York will be futuristic with this amount of projects that the city is receiving.

I was willing to accept the boxy schemes, but was really hoping for something along the lines of what we have now. The other proposals in the surrounding area didn't leave
much hope for a "pointy" skyline there. It's that missing element that we've been expecting ever since the Hudson Yards redevelopment plan kicked off...

Look at this huge fountain!!!

Presumably, this is the fountain described in Van Valkenberg's website as follows:

On the east side of 11th Avenue, the development is primarily commercial. Associated with this, the design provides a series of large theatrical gathering spots that feature highly expressive fountains, including one staircase fountain leading from an elevated plaza to 11th avenue.

Not digging how this development will be integrated into the grid, but I can't complain considering what it's replacing.

It's integrated into the street grid in the same manner that any other full-block site would be. For instance, if a developer somehow acquired every site between Fifth and Sixth Avenues between 45th and 46th Streets, it would be no different than this site. The grid is not blocked here. 11th Avenue will continue to run through the east and west sides of the site, as it currently does.

This might be the Rockefeller Center of the 21st Century.

These towers are so New York. I'm sick obsessed with this development, like sick obsessed. And I just visited the 9/11 memorial for the first time this evening, and it's gorgeous. And I can't believe that this city can get any better but after the 2010s it'll be a transformed metropolis.

all towers are pretty tall, the one luxury hotel tower right behind the north tower is 800', at least.
