While the shovels aren’t in the ground on this Atlantic Acres Business Park project yet, the plan is to create an office and retail space development. Located at the intersection of Hammonds Plains Road and Bluewater Road, the current plans call for a 24,000 square foot building, but there’s some flexibility on the final numbers.
“Right now, we’re working on securing an anchor tenant,” says James Higgs, a salesperson with Network Realty Services. “If that anchor tenant says, ‘I want X amount of space’ and it doesn’t fit with the current plans we have, we’re willing to rework the plans to suit their needs.”
Higgs figures the ground level will be retail and is hopeful there will be three levels of office space. While the building will be owned and managed by Broadway Properties Limited, Network Realty is the licensed brokerage finding tenants for the development.
Higgs says the plans for the development aren’t the only thing that can be changed.
“The name is up for grabs too,” he says
