Yeah, St. Leonard is actually a borough of Montreal. It has been since Jan. 1, 2002.

Ils n'ont jamais fait partie de la même municipalité. En tout cas, pas avant que les deux ne soient fusionnés avec Montréal en 2002.

Et St-Léonard aujourd'hui est un arrondissement montréalais unique et à part entière. Tout comme Anjou d'ailleurs.

That being said, I'll never understand how the noble people of Italy (and/or their descendants) chose a place like St-leonad to set up shop.
