Will this be the tallest skybridge in Canada? - There is one at TD Centre, but how high up is it?

Will it be the tallest skybrige in North America? - I doubt it.

The excitement is building, the skybridge is on site, waiting to be hoisted into position.

Should get a lot more interesting when the Skybridge is installed. The towers look decent, but the podium looks god awful. Cityplace continues to underwhelm when it comes to street interaction/animation.

When the community elements and bridge connections are built, it should get better.

Well one bridge is already under construction. the Fort York Bridge got cancelled, although the community elements might take some time.

I find it so amazing that developers have takent the initiative (or perhaps better worded, oppourtunity) to rid Toronto of all of those brownfields and train yards that used to take up all the land from Front Street over to lakeshore, and headed west...the building of all these condo towers and all of the pedestrian paths, parks, and everything else looks amazing, and a marked improvement from how that part of the city used to look. This project only adds to the re-gentrification...

I agree. Can't expect miracles from a community built between an expressway and railway.

That's coming June 2012.

I assume they'll be using a mobile crane to raise the steel frame structure in sections.
