as for the picture I actually wanted to stop back by there one day with my tripod. i really like those old signs.

well im glad you like the people pics cause i was accosted by sheriffs and suspected of being a possible terrorist take picture downtown one day. apparently its almost a crime to be slightly tan, wear a skull cap and carry a dslr with a 70-200mm lens in downtown Houston. They even went as far as to run my license but then they felt stupid cause I had no record at all and let me go.

Great thread. It makes me feel like I am there. I like the addition of people shots to your repitoire, it really helps paint the picture of a place, you can only do so much with shots of buildings, and other inanimate objects.
