Great pictures! I liked the ones of the great stone rowhouses the most (and the one with the mountain at night with the cross on it).

I hope that you get a chance to do more neighborhood tours of Montreal. I like these types of threads as well, but you do a good job of showing what an area is like. Your Hamilton threads helped me understand your old hometown.

This is a fairly small slice of Montreal. Every one of these pics are from about a 15 block stretch of Downtown Montreal centered on St. Catherine. The only reason we took the Metro was because my daughter gets a kick out of riding the subway (I have to admit I like it too!)
