These were built with masonry protecting structural steel. Hence why they did not collapse. They may not have collapsed, but they were sure damaged significantly (the entire interior of 90 West Street was destroyed by fire, whereas the Verizon Building suffered significant damage to it's east and southern façades from the collapses of 1 and 7 WTC, to the tune of $1.2 Billion.)

How come nothing but minor damage occurred to the WFC? How come the Century 21 Building didn't collapse? How come 1 Liberty Plaza didn't collapse? How come the Winter Garden (which is basically a hollow glass atrium) didn't collapse? How come the Millennium Hotel didn't collapse?
Too far away for significant damage to have occurred. These buildings were, however, showered by concrete and debris and were still damaged nonetheless. And it wasn't minor damage to the WFC; WFC3 (pyramid top) required shoring as several perimeter columns were damaged by the collapse of the North Tower.

How come the U.S Post Office Building didn't collapse?
Same reason 90 West and Barclay-Vesey didn't collapse. Masonry protecting structural steel. Plus it was too far away from the towers to be damaged by falling steel.

Even the Deutsche Bank Building and Fiterman Hall didn't collapse (but were deconstructed).
Yes, but those buildings were not repairable after the attack (well, the Deutsche Bank building probably was). They were both heavily contaminated by debris and were subsequently written off.

Hey if everyone just shut up, and listened to the great one they might actually learn something like someone ended up learning the hard way in the 1WTC thread. I hate people using the word INFERNO. There were a few small fires here and there (main cause of collapse). No "jet fuel" in this scenario. But somehow after pieces of steel from the Twins fell on 7WTC just like they fell on (WFC, Bankers Trust aka Deutsche, 1 Liberty Plaza, Millennium Hotel, Century 21, and 3, 4, 5, and 6 WTC etc.). ONLY 7 WTC fell, the rest remained STANDING. You ALL know the rest. Stop being stupid.

You understand that all of those buildings have very different structural systems and thus have very different reactions when hit right? Particularly when factoring in distance?

It's not rocket science.

Peddle your conspiracy theories somewhere else.

Try following some of your own advice. You have been presented with numerous replies which explained your question, yet you seem incapable of actually comprehending what you've been told.

There was a lot of fuel for the generators in WTC7 which caught fire and contributed to its collapse. If you don't like the facts, and/or are too intellectually challenged, go elsewhere with your ignorance.

^ The diesel fuel was stored in the basement UNDERGROUND. Fuel components were located from floors 1-8. Fire was above all these floors. Even if the GIANT inferno (in reality small scattered fires), were to touch the fuel, they would only burn so much hotter. A few hundred degrees more if that. Please use knowledge.

Just watch that, the whole south side of the building is on fire, not "a few scattered fires". I doubt this will sway you because you've already made up your mind, if you are indeed asking questions to hear answers you don't know then that is why this forum is here, but if your goal is to reaffirm your own beliefs about what happened then get out you troll. I dislike reading your posts in every wtc related thread, you seem to have very little to offer and now appear to be a bit of a bigot and a jerk listening to your most recent posts, please post less, or just be a quiet observer of the forum, others would appreciate it.

Well said. This troll has no concept of reality and would do this forum a great favour if he listened and accepted the fact his narrow-minded view is totally erroneous.
You have summed him up well.

This was a very beautiful, yet overlooked, and underrated tower.

It's an utter shame that this building has become notorious for being associated with ridiculous conspiracy theories that could be debunked by a 5 year old. It doesn't deserve such a cruel fate.
