Phoenix-- Need help finding apartment

I'm foreclosing on my condo in east Phoenix, and I'm looking to find a decent 1br rental around downtown/midtown. I don't want to spend much more than $800/month....

Here's the real kicker: I have a pit mix (50 lbs). I'm not finding much. Does anyone have advice/ direction??

I just did a quick Zillow.com search in zip 85004 for rent and found 6 places $500-$750/month.

One of which was 215 McKinley for $750.

Oh Lord, if I was moving back this year, I'd snap that up so fast it would make your head spin.

$750 in 215 McKinley? That seems way low. How many sqft?

Edit: 615. That's a $1.25 a square foot which seems almost standard for smaller higher-end units downtown.
