OTTAWA - The Klatch

I spent the last 5 months in Ottawa and my stay here has now come to a end.
I enjoyed my time in this fine city, even though I hardly see myself spending the rest of my life there for geographical reasons (the city is a little bit in the middle of nowhere, too far away from the coast or the Great Lakes)
The featured neighbourhoods are the Glebe, Centretown, Vanier, Hull, downtown, Westboro, Rockcliffe, Cyrville, Old Ottawa South, Alta Vista, Carlington and Carlingwood.

The pics are a bit smaller that they should be for practical reasons.

Ottawa seems to be a very lively city, that is rarely mentioned as much as Toronto or Montreal.

A fine thread of a fine city! Ottawa is so peculiar, but I love it.

Amazing pano!

Nice photos. I guess it's just a difference of perspective, but I don't get how Ottawa is in the middle of nowhere when Montreal is 2 hours away and Kingston, Sherbrooke, and Toronto aren't too far away either.

^^It's all relative. I think Ottawa is in the middle of nowhere too. The problem is that Ottawa is nearly an hour north of the 401, so you drive through one hour of nothingness before you even get to a road that goes anywhere.
