Why bother when the Evergreen Line is coming so soon? Something linking Deep Cove with Belcarra would be good, but I don't think that a ferry is the answer.

Oh, so what's the answer? a bridge? It would not work because of the expense and impact!

A bridge is doable, outcry from Deep Cove NIMBYs aside. The pollution associated with regular ferries crossing wouldn't be that much better than a fixed link either.

Furthermore, given the plans to extend David Avenue westward through Anmore, I think a bridge near Deep Cove is inevitable.

Ferry is cheaper...
