xzmattzx's Year in (P)review 2011

With 2011 drawing to an end, I wanted to highlight the places in North America that I did phototours of over the course of the year. All are at least partially from this year, with some still needing to be finished up, and others finished up in 2011. Many have been shown already, but some are still in the works, and so you get a little preview in here. If there's a place that you'd like to see sooner rather than later, let me know. Everything is categorized by state/province, with distinction between neighborhoods made if necessary.

Also, while I have your attention, here are the photothreads that I posted over the year. If you missed one, or many, and want to see them, now's your chance.

The Whaling City
Scrapple Capital of the World
Entertainment areas in Columbus
The REAL Niagara Falls, 1812 style
Buffalo's first suburb
Bloomfield or New Bloomfield?
Buffalo's fruity neighborhood
Cape Cod's county seat

Wilmington, a place to be somebody
Random Chicago
OOH RAH!
Hurricane Irene
Oil Region, part 3
The town that fooled the British
Mark Twain's home
Hamilton's northern neighbor
Oil Region, part 2
San Francisco's first neighborhood
Hamilton's beach community
A fishing village on the Delaware River

ROAD TRIP! (multiple updates)
Seaford's next door neighbor
Joe DiMaggio's old neighborhood
The City by the Lake
Ridge & Valley Pennsylvania
The Brick City

From Canada to southern Florida nonetheless, I see it's been a busy year. Nice stuff.

Considering that you have a picture which includes my friends' house, I'm interested in seeing which places that you know personally I have in my pictures.

Several of these towns I don't remember seeing before, so, either I missed some good threads or there are some good threads to look forward to be presented. Thanks for sharing the compilations, great photos!

Most haven't been shown yet. (I haven't shown a lot of 2010 and even some 2009 and earlier.) I've already posted the Port Penn, Port Deposit, Franklin, Oil City, Titusville, Bloomfield, Kenmore, Buffalo's Polonia and Fruit Belt, Barnstable, New Bedford, Quantico, Niagara Falls' Lundy's Lane and Drummondville, and Burlington pictures, which you can find links for up top.

I haven't gotten to posting my Blossburg pictures yet. It will hopefully be soon, and being somewhat close to your hometown should make it interesting. Also keep your eyes out for Lawrenceville, which is a little north of Blossburg.

^ I was gonna say I didn't remember the Blossburg pics, look forward to them now. Wonderful stuff Matt. You make me feel lazy (which I probably am) with all the travel you do and threads you post. I've got a feeling 2012 is going to be a winner too. Thanks.
