^ Fun fact: The tower of Whitney Block is unoccupied (and has been since the 60's) because it is deemed a fire hazard with only one staircase.

I've always wondered, why don't they put a fire escape on the back side of the tower? It would ugly up one side but that way the tower would actually be used!

This looks so much like a bigger, denser area in Winnipeg (downtown looking into west end) that its almost scary...like looking 80 years into the future or something
