Photography of Los Angeles in the 80's?

There is a good collection on flickR showing NYC in the 80's.

But I have not found one of L.A. in the same time period. From what I been told, L.A. was more ruthless and unsafe at the time.

I don't think many observers had that opinion. New York was still pretty rough, even Clinton and the East Village, and the graffiti everywhere was unsettling to visitors. LA had its tough areas, but visitors felt comfortable nearly anyplace save Watts and Compton, and maybe East LA.

Someday I'll dig through my Kodachromes.
