These photos depict the northern-most area of Oakland's very affluent Montclair district as well as the Hiller Highlands and Claremont (what Oakland's high-end realtors have dubbed"Panoramic Hill") neighborhoods. Although the southern most border of the Montclair district abuts Piedmont (near the junctions of Somerset and Estates and Moraga and Harbor), the confluence of affluent/wealthy hillside neighborhoods here are some four or five miles north of Piedmont.

Very nice thread. I never went through Oakland before when I was out in the Bay Area. Beautiful shots.
