Epic! and wow what a beautiful set of pics. I am in Boise this week for work and am loving life. You might want to know that the you tube video was really slowing down the pictures loading for me, the video was freezing the thread. This is one of your best Boise threads I have seen.

Beautiful scenery, each time I see photos of Boise and it's surrounding areas it makes me think of the landscape in San Joaquin Valley, especially in the foothills of central California. I said it before that Boise also reminds me of Fresno, except from the looks of it you have a much nicer downtown. Fresno has the bones already there, they just need to work out a plan and even perhaps looks at what is being done right with Boise downtown.

I think you touched on the reason why the majority of our population influx has been from California. You can move out of your home state yet still feel right at home.

Sawtooth, amazing thread. You do such a wonderful job at keeping Boise represented on this forum. Thank you for your efforts.

I've often wondered if people in Boise had the same accent as those in Joisey?

it's funny you bring that up.

when i moved to boise in '95, one thing i noticed was the LACK of accents.

outside of boise there are some, but i had a hard time detecting anything unique from boiseans.

i now tell people that boise is where national TV reporters come from, because few have an obvious accent.
