A La-La Land Weekend

Went to visit a friend in Los Angeles last weekend -- these are just a few from Santa Monica, Hollywood-Franklin Blvd area, Griffith Observatory, plus some aerials from the flight in and out. Had a great time there. Enjoy!

PS -- Sorry about the annoying spot on your screen. Apparently my camera lens has something lodged inside. I'm suspecting salt from the little Alaska Airlines snack bag got in there on the flight down. Damn.

Every city needs these. Fresh fruit stands pop up in random spots like gas stations...with fresh lime juice, salt and maybe cayenne added .... yummmmm

Interesting to see the aerial shots of downtown and Century City, too bad you didn't get the historic core section of DT because the pic you showed didn't get the real density. You could really see the spacing in the towers in those shots.

Nice tour love the aerial photos from the airplane, and the residential street shot just screams LA.

It looks like you had a nice time on your visit.
