Has the security guard situation cooled down? They don't go bonkers on people with cameras in the garden now?

Seemed cool to me. I was not stopped from taking photos, even inside. Of course I did not attempt shots of the actual art galleries.

I have do say, though I do not like the north and west street frontages, the complex is pretty awesome everywhere else.

Looks pretty cool. How were the galleries? I went through the old location out in Merion years ago and it seemed like every inch of wall space had a painting on it (great overall effect but tough to appreciate any painting individually).

Thanks for the shots Cro. I walked around the grounds a couple of days ago and checked out all of the landscaping. It is gorgeous. Have not been inside the actual museum yet, but I've heard good things.

I was looking forward to some stealth photos of a Matissé or a Renoir, but I'll take these.

You can pretty much divide Philadelphia into two camps, those who love the Barnes and those who DESPISE it. Considering that it consists of a world-class art collection that replaced what was basically a juvenile prison, it's a pretty nice change (even though some may have liked the old Juvie Hall).
