It's St. John's my friend St. John is in New Brunswick and the St. John in New Brunswick is spelt Saint John. (The more you know!) :p

It is amazing how much taller PVM and the Tour CIBC look without all of that stubby 120m clutter in front of them.

Montreal had a great skyline in the 60's. You can tell from the photos how important it was back then.

The Winnipeg circa 1920 pictures have a similar feel. A collection of buildings like that from that period is exceptional in Canada. Halifax also looks quite vibrant in pictures from 1860 or so, with well-kept high-quality buildings -- you can tell that it was a busy city by then. In later photos from the 20's and 30's it looks much shabbier.

Some of those dates are definitely off. Commerce Court for example wasn't built until 1931.
