Nice pics. Heard of it, but never been there. Looks like a pretty place. On the water, great old houses, walkable, real close to Philly... seems like a place I could live.

By the power invested in me by, er, nobody, I hereby rename this town, Riverton-on-Delaware.

Its worth a stop if your visiting Philly , the whole Riverline Corridor is worth it.

I'm curious about how Riverton felt about the Riverline being built. Riverton reminds me of Wenonah, which is very opposed to the possibility of the Glassboro Camden light rail. From what I've heard, it is the only town on the line that is fighting to prevent it from having a station there. I've suggested to some people I know in Wenonah to ask people in Riverton how the train has affected their lives. Either positively, or negatively.

I know Riverton and Palmyra were against due to crime reasons , but have since accepted and embraced it along with the other towns. Burlington was worried about accidents and congestion , but nothing has happened although they never built the Hedge barriers around the track area. As for the Glassboro LRT , Only Woodbury is against it...
