... And I don't want to toot my own horn, but I never considered myself that good of a photographer, so when I shot these ones earlier this year pride may have taken over just a little. They aren't half bad, so unfortunately it will be a toss up with these three for me.

For me it could be something as simple as this:

I don't know if it's exactly my all-time favorite, but I always have been impressed by this aerial of the city by photographer Yves Marcoux, on the cover of this coffee-table book:

Holy crap.. That makes Montreal seem enormous. (Like Philadelphia/Houston enormous, not saying it isn't big already)

Love all the shots posted so far. Especially the first one of St. John's, and the Toronto one with the clipper ship.

Didn't you notice on the plane when you started talking, eventually I started reading the vomit bag?

Love the Mtl shot - the way it seems to capture motion in the trees with the perfect clarity of the buildings is excellent. Also love that Ottawa shot.

I spent 30 minutes searching through the skyline thread to find one picture that I remembered seeing awhile ago. Turns out it wasn't as great as a I remembered it, but still pretty good.

The first thing that came to mind when I saw it was a gritty Northeastern American metro like Philadelphia.

My favourites are shots that show Toronto from the East, taken from anywhere near Tommy Thompson Park. It looks like you're in a forest, but only miles away from a huge city.

My favorite shot of Toronto hasn't been taken yet. It won't be taken for another 40 years and it will be the shot from the lake, or Yonge, maybe Eglinton, could be St. Clair from Casa Loma, actually from the Manulife Centre or from top of Aura or One Bloor. My favorite picture of Toronto will be from the top of the Holt Renfrew tower, 1000 feet up on a dreary and rainy night. My favorite picture of Toronto hasn't been taken yet and likely won't be taken for at least another 40 years. This will be my favorite Toronto picture, this shot will be hardcore for sure.
