Such a shame about the Cochrane Block on Main St. It was severely damaged by fire last January and I was afraid it would have to be demolished. The fact that it's still standing gives me hope that it will be restored. Great pics, Flar!

Beautiful pics, flar! Thanks for showing the beauty of North Bay, ON.

I´d like to visit North Bay, and to spend a winter there, well, the whole year.

Those houses are very nice. And lake Nipissing too.

It must be a very quiet city to live in, as I´d like to experience.

Congrats and greetings from Madrid, Spain!

Don't recall ever seeing this city before. Quite a variety of commercial buildings, both good and.....not-so-good. Overall looks nice (love the brick residential, sidewalks and streets). Thanks for the tour flar.

I hope vid noticed the Future Drivers of Canada office. Could be a good career move.

^ Ex-Ithacan, you commented on a photo-tour of North Bay I did about 8 years ago! My pics focused on the arsty/hippie places around town and you said it was the "Ithaca of the North". haha

I've been through / around North Bay at least two dozen times in my life but I've never gone into town. It's a shame...

Actually, in that respect, it's probably quite similar to Hamilton: a place people go around to get somewhere else.

Thanks for the tour!

Unlikely I'll ever get up to Timmins.

I did Thunder Bay already, but you're forgetting the Sault, I really want to go there.

So this is what North Bay looks like. I wish I had visited while I was in Ottawa, just to get a taste of Northern Ontario.
