Cool Post, That last photo looks like something out of a SciFi Movie!
I love trains, Ive ridden mostly old tourist steam/diesel lines but you have me thinking of trying a trip like this, Thanks!
I could only imagine the view of the Jersey Coast from the old CNJ Blue Comet of the 1930s
I looked at buying tickets to joy ride the Accela but man is it friggin expensive....and hard to connect to any public transit from Allentown PA, I have to drive to Philly just to see it.

I have been looking for a Lionel NJ Transit set at a good price, http://www.lionel.com/products/finde...09&PageID=2036
It would be really cool to run arround the x-mas tree with some tall model skyscrapers.....the heck with the snow covered Christmass "Village" I want a city! LOL!

Coastal Storms , Either Winter or in the Summer push the Garbage and wood a shore. They clean it every few months but being near the Ocean and Dirty New York Harbor it gets dirty fast...
