MACRO PHOTOGRAPHY: Random Photos

I decided it was time for those of us who love macro photography to have a place of our own to post our random works. I'll start with some of my own from this afternoon at Pittsburgh's Phipps Conservatory. Hope you enjoy, and please, please add your best macros to the thread!

Photos from years and years ago when I was into nature photography, have since moved on.

Sorry they are so small, I no longer have the original photos with me, they are in Houston on a cd somewhere. That was another life. The last photo and a few of my other nature photos were featured in a 2007 article by Natures Best Magazine.

Do you have any idea what kind of mushroom that is? Is it edible or is it deadly?

Ummmmm... I have some unconventional "macro" shots I took recently with a lens that does as good with macro as a potato flying into outer space..

So I have a pool ball..
