Guilford was settled in 1639 by Puritans from Surrey, England. The town was an agricultural community early on, but fishing and quarrying of pink granite became dominant industries.

Thanks for the pics, xzmattzx. I´ve liked Guilford. It looks like a very historic and pleasant town. Those traditional houses are very pretty, of course. Connecticut and the whole New England is surprisingly pretty. I love it.

Congrats and greetings from Madrid, Spain!

Good-looking town.
