^^^ Well at this point their current parcel is all used up, but it would be fantastic to see Hovey grab another parcel downtown, or better yet, another parcel on Cityfront Plaza like say the one North of NBC. Maybe he can keep upping the ante and deliver us an 800-1000' purple glass rectangle with a bright orange base, lol.

^^ I wish you had never imagined that scenario because now I really badly want to see a rendering of that type of building. At the very least it would be comical, maybe even edgy and ground breaking haha

This contrast is fantastic. More Hovey, please!

Looks like they've got roughly 20 floors to go...

20 seems a bit steep figuring it's only supposed to be 57 floors. Looks more like 8-10 floors if that. I have not been in the area in awhile to do a floor count, so I could be wrong and I hope I am. Another 20 would be awesome. Ground floor starts on Grand, not upper Illinois right?

If you look at the image of the render on the first page, this looks like it is about topped out. I doubt the crane jumps again, which it would need to do if there's more than 5 floors to be added. Maybe they need to add 3 more floors at most. It's almost to its final height.

Level 45 was placed on 12/27/16, with 10 levels to go from there until top-out.

(Note: there are 57 slab levels above grand ave.)

Does that mean that the floor for 45 was poured? A separate question is if the core is the official topping out point?

I've been involved in this project for 3 years and I still get confused.

Level 45 is the 47th level above Grand Ave. The roof over the core is the 57th level.
