Developer Forest City Enterprises plans to build the 23-story high-rise just west of North Central Expressway on Blackburn Street.
The building will contain 389 luxury apartments, 150 hotel rooms and retail space on the ground floor. The project is between Noble and Oak Grove avenues.

The group plans to build a nine-story, 150-room hotel with a connected 24-story, 389-unit residential tower that would sit on one of the last remaining tracts between Cityplace Boulevard West and Blackburn Street in the West Village on 2.6 acres.
The project — much like the 3700M tower — would also include about 23,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space that would extend West Village's walkable retail reign eastward.
Yep, not surprised that land was gobbled up quickly for development. Once the building on McKinney and Cityplace went up and the one on Blackburn overlooking 75 went up, it left a hole in the middle. Hopefully they don't buy up Mutts area and build up, the area needs an open green place.
