3500 rental homes. Wow.

I hope there's some urgency in getting these large rental projects through the approval gauntlet. And of course I don't mean approve whatever big rental project that comes their way, but it'd be nice to get these developments fine-tuned, and out the door as soon as possible.

I heard things are moving along, the issue was with the community centre and the financial commitments between the city Developer.

2000 rentals, 450 below market rentals, and 900 condos

This one has been approved for like 2 years, last update said they might get started towards the end of this year.

Rezoning for phases 1 and 2 is up for final adoption by city council tomorrow. This is the first three towers on the western half of the site with 1734 residential units in total.
