Ok hotspot number two is the IH10/1604 Area. I have this map that shows all of the awesome projects that they are building around the IH10\1604 interchange, and then up north of that even north of the Rim on both sides of IH10. They are also increasing the lanes on IH10 past 1604...to at least 3 or 4 lanes on each side. They are also adding an overpass for the Dominion Drive and raising the overpass over Camp Bullis Rd.
At Dominion Dr.: Construction of an overpass for I-10 at Dominion Dr. This project was specifically requested by the City of San Antonio to improve emergency access to the Dominion. However, this is also a necessary project as there are no crossovers for over two miles from Camp Bullis Rd. to Boerne Stage Rd. This project will allow for the necessary conversion of the access roads to one-way in that area.
At Camp Bullis Rd: This project will reconstruct the I-10 overpasses at Camp Bullis, which is necessary due to clearance issues. This project will also construct turnarounds, which have become necessary due to traffic from the Rim and Oak Hills Church and will convert the access roads to one-way operation from Camp Bullis Rd. to Dominion Dr."
