I like her

Anybody ever see the Nutrisystem adverts. They seem to play on CBC in the early hours, or at least that's when I see them. There are two versions with women talking about losing weight.

The thing is I swear they're aimed at men, especially with the delivery of some of the lines:

"My husband loves my new body"

"I haven't had this smoking hot body since I was in college"

"For the first time, in a long time, I can now prance around in a bikini"

It's hilarious.

My favourite line though is the woman who lists the foods you can eat and says "You can even have chocolate and I LUURRVE chocolate"

There is also an ad that I've just seen once recently and not since then with a man changing a baby and when he takes off the Huggies or whatever, the kid shoots a stream of piss that bounces off the ceiling. Crazy ad. Has it been pulled? And please tell me someone else has seen it.

reminds me of those ads about 2 years back with Kristy Alley snorffling cupcakes while asking "have you called Jenny yet??!" (as in Jenny Craig). She has been dumped [as I guess she may have eaten one (or one-hundred-thousand) cupcakes too many] in favor of a recently slimmed-down Valerie Bertinelli.

Goddammit. I kept switching around to different stations to watch the CTV news (could not get all of it at once, on account of my newborn daughter's activities). I'd put on the news, get up and away from the TV for 10 minutes, and--PRESTO!--ETALK daily with the annoying Tanya Kim (and her tight-as-a-snare-drum face), and the excruciatingly unbearable BM (bowel movement ben mulroney)!

Same thing happened no less than 3 times (I have cable, so the news is 'always on' but apparently so is Etalk daily).

Make sure to keep your baby away from the TV when the bowel movement is on,or else she'll be traumatized for life

Looks like that new Mike Myers movie 'The love Guru' has tanked in the box office after tanking really bad with critics and pre-screenings. Good, just another joke to ad to the laughs rafter!

Haha! Poor Toronto. Finally gets a chance to play itself in a big movie and the movie is a piece of crap!

Toronto > < Thunder Bay.

At least when Thunder Bay stars as itself in a movie, the people who see it agree that it's good. Of course, the people who see it are all in Thunder Bay because they're amateur films.

She takes the product and then the clouds clear and rainbows and birds and sunshine appear. WTF? is there really a microclimate down there? are some peoples netheregions like the sahara? the amazon? who comes up with these crazy ideas?

I actually saw The Love Guru, and I didn't think it was all that bad! Sure the jokes were tacky and stale, like leftovers from Austin Powers, but so what. Adam Sandler does the same thing, as does Jack Black and Ben Stiller. Plus it was nice to finally see Toronto play itself. Too bad it flopped though... Compared to Get Smart, which I did see, TLG was ten times funnier...

Looks like CityTV has dumped Ed the Sock. I just love how Rogers is making television as white bread as possible one take over at a time.
