Omni building hotel near future Cowboys HQ in Frisco

Omni Hotels & Resorts and the Dallas Cowboys announced Wednesday that they are partnering to bring a full-service luxury hotel to the team’s project in Frisco.

The upscale hotel, set to open in 2017, will be a cornerstone for the private development surrounding the Cowboys headquarters and a training facility that will be shared with the city of Frisco and Frisco ISD.

The Omni Frisco Hotel will be built adjacent to the publicly owned 12,000-seat multi-use event center. The 300-room hotel will include meeting space, a ballroom and a rooftop pool overlooking a plaza area that will be a focal point for the Cowboys development.

Omni reveals details of new Frisco hotel at Cowboys’ new HQ

Officials with Omni Hotels, the City of Frisco and Jerry Jones, owner of the Dallas Cowboys, will give an update this afternoon on The Star complex in Frisco, that will include the new Omni Frisco Hotel.

We got a sneak peak at the artist’s rendering for the 17-floor, 300-room hotel that is expected to open in the summer of 2017.

For a moment I thought the title said "Fresno". Got confused when I saw the Cowboys logo. :D

Great things can be done when the franchise has tons of mullah.

Pretty ridiculous that sports have so much power in this country. A completely useless game that millions of non thinking people devote their lives to gets so much public funding for stadiums and needs their own massive headquarters.

I preferred the original massing rendering, ha. More purely modernist.
