Very nice photos. Reminds me of the many paintings, water colors and sketches me and my father(the artist) have released to the public in Manitoba and Western Canada. Well done.

I spent years parked along side of roads, tip-toeing through water and mud ditches, making a pathway in neck high Canada thistle, trying not to lose one of the kids in thick bush, flying over the great North and barren potholed lakes of the eastern side of the province, in order to 'get the shot'. I still enjoy the old film days, where the shot was made inside the camera, not Photoshop'd.

Just going through the old pictures and trying to put them in order.

Very nice photos. Your experience is similiar to mine in that my father, an artist, designer in Europe, came to Canada, and I was born here. He would take me on his cross Canada road trips, coast to coast. He was an amazing photograper. He would of course take all his photos with his 35mm first, then sketch his outline for his soon to be oil ,water clolor or print painting.

He continues to paint after he retired from his buisness career, takes photos to this day(non digital). I bet you thiers probably a few people on this forum that have some of his work hanging in thier home right now ;)

And I agree, I liked it when the film came out of the camera too..:)
Can't wait to see your many photos as you begin organizing them. Thanks for the story and background. Good Luck.

Thx..I did some reno's across from the park on St Catherine's a little while back, and spent some time on the west side of the Seine off Eggerton Rd as well. Until then I never realized what a beautiful area this really was, It really goes unnoticed.
