If this is the new norm so be it. Hopefully, they don't cry when it's their potential leader getting dragged in next. I just don't like what shit like this does to our democracy. This is the kind of gross gotchya games we see south of the border.

The Liberals are playing a political game running a whisper campaign teasing Carney as the leader for the next election. This is clearly a political game designed to bolster terrible poll numbers, so it makes little sense to start portraying Carney as an innocent victim in all of this when the Tories start playing their own political game.
