I love Hong Kong, I'd go so far as to say that it's my favourite city (besides Winnipeg
). The price jmt mentioned sounds pretty good... and while Hong Kong is pricier for food than most other Asian destinations, it's still reasonable and you can keep it cheap without having to eat fast food all the time.
