The population of sub-Saharan Africa is projected at 4 billion by the end of the century, as opposed to 1 billion today. Nigeria will be closing in on China in population by then. So I wouldn't think that we've heard the end of immigration pressure, particularly in Europe.
The tottering governments of Africa can barely deal with the demands of the current populations, much less a quadrupling of them. I feel that Africa will go one of two ways - either they will remake themselves in the fashion of China (which I consider unlikely given the issues with governance), or there will be very bloody wars on that continent the next few decades.
