26C with a humidex of 31 and mainly cloudy. Obviously plenty of sunny breaks as well. Some rain late this evening.

Low of 18C this morning.

The warmspots were Windsor and Point Pelee, ON at 31.1C.

Warmest low was Harrow, ON at 19.0C. Will be the warmest low this year if it holds (it will).

Downtown Montreal stayed above 20C overnight and would have registered the first tropical this year in the country but the rain this evening cooled things off earlier (19C).

Gloomy, wet, chilly. Maybe our first really good soaking in a couple of weeks.
About an hour ago in downtown Vancouver we had one of the heaviest sudden
downpours I've seen in years.

Tuesday's high at Vancouver Harbour was 13 C, the low was 9 C.

A frontal system is moving in over the next few days, only reaching 16c today and showers most the day. A really nice change and well needed as it has been bone dry the past few months.

20C and mostly cloudy in Moncton at 11 AM, going up to 28C this afternoon (humidex 32).

We had a pretty intense pop-up thunderstorm pass through Moncton last evening around 11 PM. Pretty intense rain, and, one of the lightning strikes was very close to my house (flash/BOOM). It couldn't have been more than 100m away. The lights flickered and went out for about a second, but, thankfully none of my electronics were fried from the power surge.

I’m pretty sure that Windsor will take that crown, last night the lowest hourly temp recorded was 22.2C, so pretty sure it didn’t drop below 20C within that hour.

It's been hot, and now muggy! Currently 29 with a humidex of 35. Could get some gnarly thunder storms rolling in.

Pretty wild how quickly the flip switched. The forecast models all underestimated how warm it would get, I'm guessing they expected the lake to moderate temperatures more.

Long term forecast has us falling back towards seasonal over the weekend, then below seasonal for the middle of next week (although nothing extreme, highs still in the upper teens).

Yes and quite the windstorm moved through Vancouver last night. More surprising as it seemed to catch Environment Canada unawares as the alert went up very close to the storm's arrival.

At 2PM: Saint-Anicet, QC breaks Windsor's mark with a humidex reading of 39.2

A couple more hours for the first 40 humidex of the year.

31C with a humidex of 37 and sunny. Absolute scorcher. Love it. Very isolated storms this evening.

Those popcorn clouds (with even more convection) are my favorite. Nothing means summer more than a warm humid day with those convective clouds here and there.

Low of 18C this morning.

The warmspot was Saint-Anicet, QC at 32.6C.

The warmest low was Windsor, ON at 22.1C. I don't think it will hold as it cooled off tonight already. We will see tomorrow.

Harrow, ON's 19.0C low is the mark to beat.

I checked my thermostat around midnight last night and it was still sitting around 24 (and muggy!). Definitely the warmest night so far this year.

12C and partly cloudy in Moncton at 8 AM, going up to 29C this afternoon (humidex 34).

We had another rip-snorting thunderstorm this morning at about 5:30 AM with frequent lightning and heavy downpours. I'm sure it woke everyone in the city up.
