The remainder of Clement is finally being 4 laned in conjunction with the Packers Junction project. About time! There is also a car wash being built further down towards Gordon. Hopefully a gas station too, that end of town really needs one. After this, there will be no more vacant lots along Clement. Also, not really any more derelict crack shacks, the remaining homes along the south side are quite well kept.

Looks like Ella is now occupied, I saw what appeared to be patio furniture on a number of balconies.

There is going to be a Canco gas station there. They just opened one out by the airport last year and also have a convenience store beside the Tim Hortons on Bernard.

Yes it is. Quite a rapid expansion in Kelowna it seems!

The Shore/Landmark 7

Here are a few subpar photos of The Shore and Landmark 7 from a recent drive-by.

The Shore looks very nice IMO. Will be nice to see Landmark 7 start rising once they finish the parkade. It would be cool if somebody in one of the overlooking offices set up a time-lapse of the construction. Also i saw on the cities website that Stober wants to add another level onto the parkade directly across from the entrance to Landmark 6.

In the newer neighbourhoods, quite a few homes have them. Even in Edmonton where they enjoy over 2,300 hours of sunlight a year on average compared to Kelowna's 1,948 hours and Vancouver's 1,818 hours.

I was just at Summerland Arts Centre, they have 14.4 kW of solar panels on the roof installed in late 2018 and they've produced 28 MWh of electricity since then.

Brooklyn seems to be about 2-3 floors above the podium now, should start to rise pretty quickly!

Very nice progress on Clement Ave projects and Brooklyn!
One Water East tower will top off in a month and I also drove through the area today and it looks like the 4 laning of clement could be done by the end of summer.

Here's a shot from this past weekend:

The former McDonald's site on Harvey and Pandosy St. has finally been bought by the city. It will be interesting to see what will happen there in the coming years.

I watched that video. From some of the shots you can see where the sun is - just rising over the eastern horizon. Sunrise is like around 5:00 am. Of course there will be no traffic. If he were to do the same shots a few hours later it would be a totally different scene. The media has spun it to seem that Kelowna is a ghost town - well we all know that's far from the truth.
