Yeesh. A cast-in-place concrete structure under construction in Winnipeg's climate.

These guys should be making hay right now.

Life needs to continue, even in Covid lock-down. Aren't site pictures an essential service?

Anyone know if there are any plans to redo Carlton when all of this is said and done? It's looking rather rough...

It's horrendous... I would think there must be plans to improve it once construction is complete. It would be embarrassing to have TNS with nice new buildings on both sides of the street straddling a totally decrepit, rutted road.

Can verify...

Hard part is, you've got another 2 years (?) for the Sutton project and then the Wawanesa build so when do you get a chance to rebuild it?

By the way, there's work going on at the ground floor, SW corner of TNS 2.
Don't know what's slated for that spot, but you can see interior walls going up.

The NW corner facing Graham & Carlton is going to be a cafe. Unit facing plaza is ACU.

So ACU is taking all of the ground floor space except for the NW corner?

You can't, really... not until construction is done. But some patchwork would go a long way for the time being.

I'm hoping for bike lanes and an extremely pedestrianized section where it meets with the plaza, whenever it does come time to redo that Carlton block.

I have driven past this site a couple of times in the last week in the middle of the day and the gates have been closed and locked without a soul in site. This is pretty shocking considering most other construction jobs I have been watching are still progressing normally.

True north has nothing to do with that site the owner and developers are Northland Properties.

Ah....Winnipeg Grump, that means you need to take weekly shots of the Wawanesa site now.

The rules clearly state that "once the first photo is taken, weekly photo's shall thus be taken until completion"......or something like that
