^ that restaurant was ahead of its time. It was a nice place but that part of the exchange was the hinterland. It’s too bad because it likely will never come back.

^ Allora.

vike's right, that restaurant was probably about 15 years ahead of its time. It would probably do quite well there today.

Where was that? You're not referring to Tokyo Joe's, are you?

We ate there a few times, it was good. I believe they got kicked out at the end of their lease because Wellington West needed the space if I remember right.

I remember that at one point vike said they were bursting at the seams in there, but since then I know a law firm has moved in there and they still have space advertised for lease. So I'm not sure what happened... maybe National Bank Financial ended up moving people into another building, as it doesn't seem to be full at the moment.

Incidentally, the building is currently listed for sale.

A lot of National Bank people in that building are/were financial advisors. They're technically independent and "sell" NB products, so they can work from any office, NB or private. When it was Wellington West, the whole company was there pretty much.

There's a really nice patio/terrace left over from the restaurant.

Nice to see the wood on the underside of the cantilever. I'm looking forward to seeing the variety of textures on this one.

I'm holding onto optimism.... Demo can take a loooooong time.

Here at 360 there has been ongoing interior demo for months to prepare for new tenants.

Also why did Urban Recluse get banned?

Probably for being insufferable.

If I had to guess, UR was banned because he/she was someone previously banned from this forum, operating under a different username.

I didn’t know that. So I guess it is just a matter of time until it starts up again.

Yes, it’s the third certainty, after death and taxes. He’s harmless enough.
