Winnipeg | Photographer í ˝íł¸ (@mikesudomaphoto) on Instagram: Captured a silhouette of a worker pulling a night shift at the almost finished True North Square buildingWednesday after shooting @cirquedusoleil @bellmtsplace this past Wednesday for the @winnipegfreepress. This building is going to be a beauty and a great addition to downtown once it’s finished
It’s really amazing how those fins on the inside really give the round part a “carved out” effect from the rest of the building. Wouldn’t have been nearly as dramatic without them. Kudos.
From the new TNS skywalk, the setup this afternoon for the Jets pregame party. If I had been there a little a sooner, I would have seen the Randy Bachman sound check from this same spot.
I wonder what the delay is in getting the permanent video board installed? As you can see they have put a small temporary video screen.
God bless True North. With the Jets coming back and the investment in Downtown, this is the greatest thing Winnipeg has ever experienced in my lifetime.

Illegal Curve Hockey (@illegalcurve) on Instagram: “How do you break in True North Square on the night of a marquee hockey game between the Jets and Leafs? By having a music legend and Winnipegger Randy Bachman perform with his band. Fans are in place on a beautiful night here in the city.

This Project's looking good! Too bad about Lindsay Buckingham though, getting kicked out of Fleetwood Mac...well, at least he gets to play bass in Randy's band! Rock on, on hockey!
I'm really happy this piece of the project worked out. When the announcement happened a couple years ago, it seemed like Northland was brand spanking new to the project. A couple years later, they worked everything out and we should get another nice development.
Now this is awesome. I'm glad that they had live music and brought about some real life back into downtown. It would be hilarious if the Jets saved downtown.
Was exploring the upper floors of the Bay the other day. Looking east from there is a view you never get to see because of The Bay... was a spectacular view right into TNS, Hydro, and all.
