Questions and Answers

Post your burning questions here. And feel free to offer responses to posted questions.

Here is my first question:

Why do I hate Nickelback? No, that's not the right question. How could anyone not hate Nickelback?

My second question:

Why do I hate Ben Mulroney? No, that's not the right question. How could anyone not hate Ben Mulroney?

Nickelback I chalk up to one critical factor:

As for Ben Mulroney--what do you expect when it's obvious he's getting his makeup tips from Mila?

I actually like Nickelback, and most bands songs sound the same, AC/DC has that problem, and they've been huge for about 35 years now.

I've been to a Nickelback show and I was impressed. People seem to judge them by the singles they hear on the radio, but most of their songs are way faster, heavier and dirtier. To each their own I guess.

A friend of mine got to be an extra in a Nickelback video filmed right outside his condo in Yaletown down in Van a few years back. I believe the one where the guys' chick gets in some sort of car accident towards the end of the video.

Don't much care for Nickelback, but there's worse out there, that's for sure.

Why are you asking rhetorical questions?

Is the man on MolsonExport avatar actually MolsonExport? No, that's not the right question. How could anyone on SSP be so distinguished?

can someone explain the HUUUUUUUGE international success of A Simple Plan?

I don't know how to describe such neo-pop-punk-LA bands, in French I say «musique à numéros». music by numbers?

Exactly, nickelback are the whipping boy of Canadian music when I think Simple Plan and Hedley are far more deserving, though Hedly are surprisingly good live, the singer has ADD or something.

Arriviste, I just tried to listen to 3 Wilco songs and all I can say is there is 2 minutes of my life that I will never get back. I don't know why you suggested that I go listen to some of their songs, but I wish you didn't.

I've never heard Wilco I don't think. Every time they play Hedley on the radio god kills a puppy.
